Join us for our regular monthly meeting welcoming the entire spectrum of the LGBTQ+ community, friends, families and allies for support and education.  Our speaker will be Mr. Michael C. Oliveira, head librarian for One Archives at the University of Southern California, the largest repository of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) materials in the world. Michael will introduce the Archives and discuss the movement from the early 1950s through the 1970s through the lens of the collections held at ONE. Mike graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Masters of Library Science with an Archives Concentration in 2005 and hired for the first round of grant-funded archival processing at ONE from 2006 through 2010. He was invited to return and has continued with ONE since 2011.
